Christina Cipko was a wonderful grandmother and everyone loved her.  She was always smiling and laughing and found humor in everything.  She was hardworking in her last job as a housekeeper at Fedco Dept Store and equally hard working at home, where she worked in the garden, babysat her grandkids, and baked us goodies.  Grandma taught me how to sew, inspired me to be a good student by always working crossword puzzles and reading her "Reader's Guide" stories.  A bit of a pack-rat, she saved everything from newspaper clippings to postcards and letters.  Conserving was very important to her since she grew up during the Depression.  One of the funny things I will always remember her saying is "If it's yellow, let it mellow.  If it's brown, flush it down."  It was always fun to visit and I am so glad to have had her as my Grandma.
